Barbosa Chess Academy Online Group Classes (1300+ OTB Rating)
Take your chess to the next level with Barbosa Chess Academy’s structured online group classes whole year round, designed specifically for players rated 1300 and above. This program combines high-level instruction with practical tournament experience, giving students the tools to improve both understanding and performance.
Program Details:
Schedule: Saturdays, May 23 – July 18, 2026 (9 sessions)
May: 23, 30
June: 06, 13, 20, 27
July: 11, 18, 25
Time: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
8:30 – 10:00 AM: Interactive lecture (90 minutes) (Recorded)
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Online training tournament (four 15-minute games) hosted on Chess.com
Format: Live online group sessions, divided into appropriate rating groups
Each class features in-depth lessons covering advanced strategy, positional understanding, calculation techniques, and practical game analysis. After the lecture, students immediately apply what they’ve learned in a competitive tournament setting, reinforcing key concepts through real gameplay.
Registration:
$360 for the full 9-session semester
